Job Description: Center Head

Position Summary:
The Center Head is responsible for the overall management, profitability, and growth of the hospital. This role ensures efficient operations, patient satisfaction, and strategic development through team leadership, business acumen, and close coordination with doctors, department heads, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
    1.    Profit and Loss (P&L) Management:
    •    Achieve financial targets by optimizing revenue, controlling costs, and enhancing operational efficiency.
    •    Monitor outstanding payments, ensuring timely follow-ups and escalations to mitigate financial risks.
    2.    Operational Leadership:
    •    Oversee hospital operations, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments.
    •    Supervise and guide all hospital staff, who will report directly to this position.
    •    Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to maintain operational and clinical excellence, including quality benchmarks.
    3.    Doctor Engagement and Management:
    •    Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, ensuring regular engagement and retention.
    •    Manage doctor onboarding processes and address their operational needs.
    •    Ensure timely and accurate payouts for doctors in collaboration with the finance and operations teams.
    4.    Business Development and Growth:
    •    Develop strategies to increase patient footfall, revenue streams, and referral business.
    •    Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to boost patient acquisition and enhance brand visibility.
    •    Foster partnerships with external stakeholders to strengthen the hospital’s market presence.
    5.    Reporting and Governance:
    •    Present detailed MIS reports, P&L statements, and operational updates to the CEO and Board of Directors.
    •    Participate in monthly Management Review Meetings (MRMs), addressing key action points.
    6.    Strategic Planning and Budgeting:
    •    Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
    •    Provide business forecasts to the CEO and Board of Directors every 15 days.
    •    Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
    •    Formulate strategies to improve patient satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
    7.    Team Leadership and Development:
    •    Lead, mentor, and motivate staff to achieve organizational and individual goals.
    •    Ensure training and development programs are in place to maintain high service standards.
    •    Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
    8.    Regulatory Compliance and Quality:
    •    Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.
    •    Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality patient care.



Reporting Structure:

The Center Head will report directly to the CEO and work closely with department heads, doctors, and external stakeholders.

Note: Responsibilities may be adjusted based on organizational needs and strategic priorities.
