Mechanical Draftsman - Distillery

Responsibilities:*
- Create detailed and accurate 2D and 3D mechanical drawings and schematics for distillery equipment such as *heat exchangers, evaporators, distillation columns, tanks and systems*, ensuring adherence to industry standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate conceptual designs into technical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Assist in the development of equipment layouts, assembly drawings, bill of material, ERP and fabrication details for distillery projects.
- Work closely with the engineering team to revise and update drawings based on design changes, feedback, or project requirements.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of mechanical drawings and revisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs with other disciplines within the distillery projects.

*Requirements:*
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience as a mechanical draftsman in the distillery or similar industry.
- Proficient in AutoCAD with a strong ability to create accurate and detailed mechanical drawings.
- Familiarity with distillery equipment, processes, and industry standards.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure precision in technical drawings.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineers and stakeholders.
